Find the right fin

There are a lot of variables in surf design that play into surf design that can cause alot of confusion. Let us clear things up for you by breaking everything down.

  • Single Fins

    Rooted deep in surf history, single fins are as relevant today as they were back then. They come in a wide range of sizes for a wide variety of boards from shortboard to 12 foot gliders.

  • Twin Fins

    Known for speed and looseness, twin fins come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Ranging from traditional templates all the way to high performance shapes that help a board perform is all types of waves.

  • Thrusters

    The trhurster has become the most popular set up over the last few decades. Providing a good balance between manouverability, drive and control these fins have become the go to for high performance surfing.

  • Quad Fins

    Quad fins feature two front fins that are usually larger then the two rear fins. This combination allows for great speed generation and hold. This has proven to be useful for weaker waves and good more hollow heavy waves.

  • Twinzer Fins

    Twinzers sit between a Quad and Twin set. The side fins are slightly smaller then a twin and they feature a small canard fin infront of those. They have more grip and drive then a thruster. They surf more loose then a quad due to the canards fitting Infront of the big fins.

  • 2 + 1 Fins

    Basicallt a thruster featuring a bigger center fin that you will pivot heavily of. They proove great in larger surf and point breaks.
